Hi, I’m Sonica Beckmann, the founder and CEO of the House of Kind London.  When I first started working on the brand in 2024, I had three goals in mind. The first was to create a sisterhood in the workplace that helps women feel empowered and confident. You could say, my antidote to the old boys’ club mentality that still exists within many parts of the corporate world, and one I’d encountered a lot in my previous career as Head of Legal of a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate.

Secondly, I wanted the brand to become synonymous with the promotion of kindness, embodied by every woman that wears my pieces. A flash of my signature embroidered heart cuff or bespoke lining signals an ally - whether that’s in the high-pressured setting of the boardroom, or in an elegant bar ordering a cocktail with friends. 

Finally, I wanted the House of Kind collection to offer luxurious and stylish ready-to-wear without the eye-watering prices. Each piece in the collection is designed to become a versatile part of your wardrobe that works just as well styled smartly for the office as it does pared down with jeans and trainers. While my inspiration may have started in the boardroom, it's evolved into something far bigger. I design clothes for all women who want to feel empowered, put together and supported by a wider community of like minded women.

In just a few months, we have already achieved so much as a growing fashion brand, and we truly believe that ‘Kindness is our superpower©’. I can’t wait for more of you to discover our community and spread our message of kindness and solidarity.
